I can help you

Ghostwriting & Book Development

Every collaboration begins with a conversation. Most writers come to me with a feeling that they have a book inside them—an idea, an experience, or a body of work that wants a larger shape. My role is to help them uncover what the book truly is, then build the structure, voice, and narrative through-line that will carry it.

Ghostwriting is not the act of disappearing into someone else’s voice. It’s a form of deep listening—an attentiveness to cadence, meaning, and intention. I ask the questions that clarify thinking, deepen the material, and help the writing feel like you at your most articulate and grounded. My aim is to help you express what you know, what you’ve lived, and what you believe with coherence, nuance, and emotional clarity.

I work on nonfiction projects across genres: identity, wellness, psychology, culture, personal narrative, big ideas, and hybrid forms that don’t fit neatly into a single category. Some clients have a fully formed concept; others have only a question or a handful of stories. Wherever we begin, we find the book together.

What Our Work Together Might Include

  • Shaping or refining the central concept

  • Helping clarify the book’s purpose, structure, and direction

  • Developing a compelling voice that feels unmistakably yours

  • Conducting interviews and conversations that generate raw material

  • Turning that material into organized, polished chapters

  • Creating an internal architecture that supports the story or argument

  • Providing strategic editorial guidance throughout the process

  • Preparing a submission-ready book proposal if needed

  • Offering coaching and editorial guidance for writers who want focused support without full ghostwriting

Some clients work with me all the way through a full ghostwritten manuscript. Others hire me for the conceptual and developmental stages, then continue on their own with a clear blueprint. Still others bring me into a later draft to help refine structure, deepen arguments, or strengthen narrative momentum.

As a nonfiction ghostwriter, developmental editor, and book proposal specialist, I work closely with agents and editors. I understand what makes a proposal stand out and a manuscript hold together. My approach is careful, thoughtful, and supportive—an editorial partnership designed to help you bring forward the strongest, truest version of your book.
